IS-71 : The IS-71 Hyper Lariat takes the IS63L with its high-sensitivity, high power-to-weight ratio and greatly increases the rotation speed. Starting with the uniquely designed magnesium frame, many modifications for real world, practical use are made, extending into the details of the internal workings. It uses marine bronze, a special aluminum bronze with high torque strength and high durability (which is used for the propeller shafts of boats) as the material for the master gear, with 78 super small gear teeth machine-cut to microscopic accuracy. The super-lightweight gear housing of the Lariat helps achieve a high speed gear ratio of 7.1:1 without giving up durability. The handle knob is a new type of super-lightweight power knob using smoke rubber sandwiched cork. It's well suited for flipping, pitching or bait finesse, where a sudden burst of power is need to pull fish out from cover. It has long distance casting performance that can handle headwinds with ease. The Lariat is a competition model built to pro specs, that shows its versatility with Megabass' unique performance tunings.

IS 63 : Finally being introduced to the front lines, this specially tuned machine crafted by Megabass' Carrozzeria challenges the limits of beauty and utility. Its specs are quite simply over-the-top, with various high performance technologies poured into its design like a formula race car.

First, the super duralumin spool was drilled out in various places to reduce weight and increase acceleration performance, with weight reduction extending to the magnetic braking system, increasing the responsiveness of the automatic adjustment system. With the latest high strength and lightweight parts such as super duralumin drive gears, gear shafts, handle knob shafts, titanium drag washers, carbon graphite machine cut handles, and carbon composite knobs, the inertial properties of the handle assembly were lowered to the extreme along with the centrifugal force during rotation. This brought on a super high degree of sensitivity and reel balance that fell perfectly in line with rod balance, creating a new dimension of controllability. Of course, there is no lapse in quality for the final touches. The super lightweight magnesium body is accompanied by outer parts which have all undergone weight reduction procedures. It incorporates the large 7.3 gear from the IS73C(Competition) while still coming in at a scant 152g, incredibly light for a high gear reel.

The ultra lightweight and high torque monster hunting machine IS63L(Lariat) breaks through the 150g barrier, weighing in at under 149g. The extreme speed of the IS73C and the light weight and high torque of the IS63L. We would love for you to experience the thrill of using both machines.
